South Western Railway Class 442/444/450/15X
Develop concept table designs, perform static structural and dynamic simulations of the table designs in accordance with GM/RT 2100 Issue 5. Arrange crash testing and static load testing, and compile reports for submission to NoBo. Undertake First Article Inspections for customer approval, and ensure delivery and quality standards are maintained during series production.

Company founded
We are proud to have celebrated our 25th anniversary in 2018. The company was formed in June 1993 by its founder and current Chairman, Peter Baker, and is now managed operationally by his son and daughter, Jamie and Claire.

Factory destroyed by fire
Our main factory, Display House, was destroyed by fire in 2000. Our commitment to our customers during that stressful period was to be operational from a temporary site within 7 days - we did just that!

Awarded first rolling stock interiors contract
We were awarded our first rolling stock interiors contract with Bombardier Transportation UK. From there, we have dedicated the company to supplying first class products to the rolling stock market.

Accredited with International Rail Industry Standard
In 2010, we were the first UK company to be accredited with the International Rail Industry Standard (IRIS) for an interiors scope. We are also audited to ISO:9001

Awarded first airport interiors contract
We were awarded the contract to design, manufacture & install fixed furniture at the Queen's Terminal, Heathrow Airport. Our performance on this contract led us to become a leading supplier of furniture and fittings into Heathrow Airport.

New Metalwork & Assembly factory
Construction on West Six commenced in December 2017 and was opened inJune 2018 on schedule. West Six is our 30,000 square feet Metalwork & Assembly factory located near to our headquarters. This was part of our continued investment to support the growth of the company.

Production Control
MRP & Planning Software

Our production planning software links directly to our MRP to provide day to day scheduling, capacity planning, what-if analysis and sceario planning. We have opted for ¬†Access Group’s Orchestrate and Factory Master for our software needs.

It provides a drag and drop Gantt chart for our production planners, meaning rapid implementation of programme changes, accurate forecasting, and being able to predict bottlenecks before they occur.
